Trixie Tweezers Parasite Removal

These special tick tweezers easily remove ticks without the use of poisons or insecticides.

These tweezers should not be missing in any pet care set.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Brush the hair around the tick. Grasp the tick's head with the tweezers and slowly close them around the insect's head.

Gently twist the tweezers until the tick is released.

Avoid sudden movements as this may cause the tick to vomit on the pet's body.

Disinfect the skin after removing the tick.

IMPORTANT: If any tick remains, contact your veterinarian.

FURTHER INFORMATION: Ticks are most active during the months of May through August.

During this period you should have the appropriate tools to treat them.

They live particularly on the ground, in meadows, underground and along roadsides.

They climb grass and bushes up to a height of one meter from where they can pass on to animals or humans.

Ticks can transmit dangerous pathogens. But it is possible to protect against these infections by removing the ticks a few hours after the first bite.
