Frontline Pipettes Spot Small Breed 2-10 Kg

Spot-on pipettes with their spot-on solution provide your dog with protection against fleas, ticks and lice in the first 24 hours. These pipettes are indicated for dogs between 2 and 10Kg. Its action is topical and covers the animal completely.

Directions

- Use only on dogs.
- Be sure of the size of the dog in order to choose the right pipette.
- You can touch the dog as long as the area where the pipette has been applied has dried.
- Do not bathe it until 48h have passed since its application.

 

Instructions for use:

1. Remove the blister packs from the cardboard box and separate a blister.
2. Remove the pipette or spot on-cutting with scissors or folding the dotted line backwards.
3. Separate the fur along the dorsal line of the dog or cat until the skin is visible.
4. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and start spreading the product well from the shoulder blade area to the middle of the back to prevent the animal from turning and licking.
5. It is advisable not to put all the product in the same spot.
6. The product will seep into the skin of our animal and will make a protective layer.

 

Precautions

- Do not use on cats or rabbits.
- Do not bathe the dog 48h before applying the pipette.
- Use in puppies from 8 weeks old.

Frontline® Spot-on Dog.

 

Composition: Each ml contains: Fipronil 100.00 mg; (S)-methoprene 90.00 mg.

 

Target species: dogs.

 

Indications: Treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations. Treatment and control of biting lice infestations.

 

Contraindications: Do not use in puppies less than 8 weeks of age and/or weight less than 2 kg. Do not use in sick (e.g. systemic disease, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions may occur, even resulting in death.

 

Adverse reactions: The following adverse reactions have been reported sporadically after use of the product: transient skin reactions at the site of application (scaling, local alopecia, pruritus, erythema) as well as general pruritus or alopecia. Exceptionally, after administration of the drug, hypersalivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervous symptoms), vomiting or respiratory symptoms have been observed.

 

Posology: External route of administration, by application to the skin. 1 pipette of 0.67 ml per dog not exceeding 10 kg body weight. 1 pipette of 1.34 ml per dog, weighing between 10 and 20 kg body weight. 1 pipette of 2.68 ml per dog, weighing between 20 and 40 kg body weight. 1 pipette of 4.02 ml per dog, weighing more than 40 kg. The minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

 

Precautions: Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. Ensure that the drug is applied in an area where the animal cannot lick itself and that animals do not lick each other after treatment. Bathing or immersion in water for 2 days after application of the product should be avoided as well as bathing more frequently than once a week.

 

- Fipronil is the main active ingredient of the FRONTLINE product range. It is an insecticide/acaricide substance characterized by rapid action, an excellent safety profile and long lasting effects.

- Permethrin is a substance belonging to the class of type 1 pyrethroids. It is an insecticide and acaricide that exerts a repellent action against sandflies, mosquitoes and ticks.
