How it works: Nucleoforce® is a profile of different nucleotide groups formulated specifically for dogs. Nucleotides are semi-essential nutrients, which are characterized as the structural unit of nucleic acids in cells. Dietary ingredients are generally poor in nucleotides. On the other hand, endogenous synthesis is possible, although energetically it is very expensive, so that in situations of high demand for cell repair and multiplication, an exogenous supply of nucleotides is necessary. For years, several applications of oral nucleotides have been investigated, given their capacity to modulate the immune response. One of them is in dermatology, since it has been shown that a combination of nucleotides can promote a correct function of the skin barrier. Dermial® Hyaluronic Acid significantly increases dermal fibroblast proliferation and migration. Fibroblasts are involved in the regenerative capacity of the skin. Dermial® induces an increase in the skin's hydration capacity due to the increased production of Hyaluronic Acid and its ability to increase elastin production. Atopic dermatitis can affect the total amount of lipids in the outer layer of the skin or alter the relative concentration of these with an increase in skin dehydration and an increase in the entry of cutaneous allergens. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) modulates skin inflammation. In normal skin, ceramides are secreted by keratinocytes of the epidermis into the intercellular space to ensure cellular cohesion and efficacy of the skin barrier. Plasma concentrations of vitamin E in dogs with atopic dermatitis are significantly lower than those found in healthy dogs. Oral vitamin E supplementation can make up for vitamin E deficiencies. Recommended Use: Dogs and cats, especially during or after debilitating diseases of skin integrity such as dermatitis. Administration: Administer Atopivet® orally for a minimum of 4 weeks, following this dosage regimen: -Less than 10 kg 1 capsule -10-20 kg 2 capsules -20-30 kg 3 capsules -over 30 kg 4 capsules The administration period may vary at the veterinarian's discretion, from 4 weeks to longer uses of the product, depending on the patient's pathology and the response after administration of Atopivet®. Unlike other treatments, it can be administered for prolonged periods of time without harming the organism. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using Atopivet® or prolonging its period of use.
